Skadi's old bike got vandalized. We suspect who it did, but we have no proof of it. Since the kid needed a bike to get to school or just for fun and sports, we went to a big local bike shop this afternoon. I'm tired and exhausted after weeks of learning and preparing, but today I did the final exam, the practical one and... passed!

Man, time's flewing, I tell you. Even my kiddo complains about it. If I recall my youth days, time was going slower. I remember I hated if school was off, because no one was available to hang with and therefor it was boring. Now vacations are over soon as they started. At least it feels that way, even to kids/teens. Our modern time is way too busy.

A friend of mine showed up and repaired my car. The starter wasn't broken, the screwes just were'nt fixed properly, so the starter lost contact to the engine. My friend didn't want anything in return, just a cup of coffee.

YAY!!! *happy dance*

I have a neighbour a couple of yards down the street, she has three dogs and two horses, a Shetland pony and a Fjord horse, both elderly mares but sweet nonetheless. We right hit it off, she's in my age, a single mom and -gues what- an animal lover. Skadi is spending a lot of time there, playing with the dogs and helping with the horses ( Read more... )

I accidently discovered that The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain is playing in Darmstadt next sunday, and I'm going to see them!!
